Welcome to our updated and tastefully appointed three-bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom single-family lake-view home! The perfect location for your next family or friends vacation! We are situated on a private cul de sac, perfect for privacy and the kids! We have a large backyard and are pet-friendly with a fee. We would love to host you!
The Space:
Guests can enter the house using a digital keypad. Once inside, to the left is the living room, and to the right is the first bedroom with a queen bed.
Straight ahead from the front door leads to the kitchen and dining table. You will also find a hallway leading to the first bathroom with a shower/tub, master suite, laundry area, a door to the patio, and a staircase.
Upstairs goes to the half bathroom and the two remaining bedrooms. Outside, our backyard has a table with four chairs and a BBQ grill.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the full house! The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code 24 hours upon check-in.
The Neighborhood:
East Lake Park is a 100-acre city park anchoring Birmingham 's North East Lake neighborhood, between 1st Avenue North and 3rd Court North and between 80th and 84th Street North. It adjoins Lynn Park across 4th Avenue North . The park was first developed in 1886 as a private attraction for the East Lake Land Company. This is a transitioning neighborhood. We think it is great, and have never had any security issues, but we understand that everyone has different experiences and want to make sure you are comfortable in our home. If you are concerned about the neighborhood, we would be happy to talk with you about it and answer any questions. We will not provide a refund upon arrival if you decide you do not like the area.
Getting Around:
This is a residential area, so driving is recommended, but Uber and Lyft are available in Birmingham
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
There is a park across the street and lake to the right of our home. You can see the lake from kitchen window, back porch, and driveway. Neighbors house are really close and the back porch is next to neighbors house. There is a field to play soccer, throw football, ect. in front of the house. There is a baseball field to the right by the lake making this an excellent home for kids or for those who like to be active outdoors. This is a transitioning neighborhood. We think it is great, and have never had any security issues, but we understand that everyone has different experiences and want to make sure you are comfortable in our home. We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
