The location is convenient for shopping. Our main purpose was to visit family. The hotel is clean. The staff are helpful and efficient. We only stayed one night. Our breakfast was added to the room price. The carpark charge of £10.00 was a surprise. The breakfast was buffet style with a nice variety of good quality items and plenty of additional options. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return. The young lady on Sunday breakast restaurant reception deserves a special mention she was very welcoming and professional.

A good hotel and location.

A good value hotel in an excellent central position. Pleasant interiors and clean. Ample parking £10 a night. I would have given a 5 star review as the pillows were flat and uncomfortable with no choice of alternatives. Bed was comfy though.

My room was very clean and comfortable with a good variety of teas and coffee. There was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a safe if required. The hotel overall was spotless, or meals were fantastic, the braised beef was the best I've ever eaten! Staff were polite and extremely helpful. I would stay here again in a flash. Thank you

Not a brilliant stay. Very, very long wait at check in with the explanation ‘everyone arrived at once’ — funny that when it’s the start of check-in! Breakfast a little disorganised and long wait for requested fried eggs, lukewarm coffee and pale bacon with congealed fat. Staff very polite and friendly which is always lovely. Parking stressful in packed car park.
