We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

"The house is comfortable, spacious, clean and very well equipped. We found everything we needed and more! Mr and Mrs Neidhöfer are the nicest, friendliest hosts you could wish for. They offered extensive advice regarding facilities in and around Wolf and further afield and several suggestions for excursions whilst on holiday. We experienced great weather during our stay and home meals were enjoyed either in the peaceful secluded garden or, especially in the evenings, enjoying the superb views...

This may have partly be due to lack of clear communication as the owner's English was not strong. The house also was not as clean as we would have liked and some elements were not working properly, such as one shower. The washing machine was not available (as it is shared) when we wanted to use it."

With hindsight, possibly not the best overall location for a family break but we had a good time - Bad Bertrich is more of a recuperation venue and hiking stop. Highlights included a trip to Trier and an afternoon at a crater lake. Lots of beautiful scenery too!"

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "

A Gem of a Place

"Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). "

"Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking."
