"It’s a beautiful place and very clean. We loved EVERYTHING except for the roads and steps. It’s hard to find. Parking is tight with lots of steps to get in and around the house. It’s a great view though! "

"José’s house is on the edge of everything you want to see in Porto, so we walked everywhere. The house was well organized although you shouldn’t expect a North American look. This is a 300 year old house! There is free street parking out the door, which was very convenient. There is a laundromat and grocery store (with a good cafeteria) a block away). José took the time not only to make recommendations of where to go but also to take me to the grocery store and laundry so I would know where they...

"The property was well located with easy and good access to Aramante the Douro valley and Porto. The garden and house are secluded and the surrounding area of vineyards was very quiet and peaceful. The house was really well equipped and very nice with lots of hot water and towels for the pool. We enjoyed walking around the area and into Aramante along the new footpath next to the river. We had a really relaxing stay and would throughly recommend the house to people. "

"Very spacious. We had a patio back and front where we could enjoy the scenery. We felt like we were at home. Very comfortable. Our host peter welcomed us when we arrived. He always made sure we had everything we needed. Gave us lots of tips about what to visit in the area. "

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce bel appartement de Vila Nova de Gaia. Dès que l'on pénétre dans le séjour, on est subjugué par la vue sur le vieux Porto. L'appartement est à 10 minutes à pied du Pont Luis I. Les bus sont à 2 minutes. Le logement est très bien équipé."

"We had a great time. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to everything. The terrace was lovely. We always turned left coming out of the apartment, to go to the historic center - and discovered a beautiful supermarket, just to the right of the apartment, about a block away!"
