It was a bit difficult to find for the first time in the dark as it gets quite dark in Scotland, but that was more due to my unfamiliarity with the area than the instructions that were given. "This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. "The house was a perfect home-away-from home for our family of 6 adults! Everything we needed was provided, and made it easy for us to have meals at the house once we acquired some groceries from Aldi. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were perfect! Susan was a great help-stopping by one time to introduce herself, and even coming out to shovel the driveway on the morning it snowed! There were tons of historical sites within a short drive. And breakfast at the North Gateway...
