"We stayed in Pheasant Cottage. Perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the beautiful setting Serenity Cottages offers. The natural surroundings support native plants and many wild animals. Loved the low key, relaxed atmosphere (except for the periodic dog barking from the neighboring dog daycare). Each cottage is in its own private setting. The lake is small allowing for the enjoyment of non motorized water activities. It was great to have a relatively dark sky (bright yard light was a distractor) to view the stars."

"This Day’s Inn is a typical budget type hotel but the staff was very accommodating and helpful. They keep the place clean even it some of it needs updates. The breakfast is better than some hotels. Stay is around $100/night which isn’t bad. There is some traffic noise but not the worst. The rooms and entry areas were clean. "
