Cozy guest house in the Black Hills with Spectacular views!

Located 20 minutes from Sturgis and 40 minutes from Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, and Crazy Horse, this guest house sits on 12 acres up a private dirt drive that boasts views for miles! Comfortably sleeps 10 people, 2 bedrooms, the others are loft style with a full kitchen, 3/4 bathroom, and washer/dryer set. Includes access to a patio with seating and a fire pit. Whether you are looking for adventure across the Black Hills or Badlands, or just looking for a peaceful getaway this guesthouse is the perfect place to be! As a bonus, enjoy a basket of farm fresh eggs straight from our chickens just for staying with us! We are on well water fyi. All bedrooms and sleeping areas are upstairs.

Cute quiet and very pretty
We had an amazing time we had everything we needed and the Host was so accommodating and friendly, letting us use the garage and even worrying about us when a storm was coming in. Location is a beautiful place and secluded which is just what we were looking for. Only gave 4 stars for location because of the difficulty of the road in on Motorcycles, but that is at no fault of the home owner, they were amazing. Thank you for the memories of South Dakota.

Great Host and Great House
Our family highly recommend this house and host. From the time we drove onto the property the host was extremely inviting and helpful. She greeted us and as we were getting into the home our daughter made a mess in her car seat. She jumped right in and helped clean her up along with giving us recommendations in the area of places to eat. She also allowed our son to go look at her animals and get some of the eggs from their chickens. The host responded quickly anytime we had questions or needed anything. She also brought us over some firewood when we asked. She went above and beyond. This location was perfect. We were right in the middle of so many areas to sight see. The house was clean and had plenty of room for our family. The host had all necessities available in the house such as dish soap, laundry pods, shampoo, and body wash. You can tell when someone cares about their guests. The host definitely does and we could not be more thankful for her as our time at her property was amazing!

Host was great, property wasn't what I expected.
The location was difficult to find. Difficult for a vehicle that sets low to the ground (Honda Civic) to get up the driveway. Wasn't informed that their water source was well water. For health reasons I'm not able to consume well water. Water had a very strong sulfur odor. This listing stated 3 bedrooms but it was a 2 bedroom (5 total beds). 3 beds were placed in an open area.

Black Hills vacation
Property owners were very friendly and responded quickly to questions. House was very clean! The bedrooms are all upstairs and I didn’t ask that question when booking. (I will next time). The one bathroom is very small. The water smells like sulphur except on the facet in kitchen that was filtered. The GPS takes you to a locked gate that doesn’t go through to the property but Kelli was very quick to reply and even offered to come meet us. Overall a good experience! There are lots of things to do within an hour or so! Very busy fun vacation.

So. Dakota vacation
Our family stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the surrounding area. The location was just what we needed for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer State Park and an assortment of other places. From the time we walked through the door it felt welcoming and homelike. We played games at the kitchen table, roasted hot dogs and s’mores over the fire pit and grandchildren, who had never tasted fresh eggs, announced they never wanted store bought eggs again!😆 A good time was had by all. One thing that worried us when we arrived was the sleeping area is all upstairs and the bathroom downstairs and the stairwell is open on one side. Our granddaughter sleep walks so she and nighttime trips to the bathroom were a concern. But we worked it out and it was fine. There were also some issues with hot water and hot water pressure but our hosts were working on them and based on their positive welcoming attitudes I suspect the problem is fixed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again if we were in the area.

Beautiful home with amazing views!
There were 12 of us total (including a 6 and 4 year old) and this beautiful home had everything we needed as well as plenty of space. There were a couple small hiccups with the hot water heater and air conditioning but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay, as we realize these things can’t always be avoided. The owners were kind, communicative and very accommodating! We’d stay again in a heartbeat! My whole family left feeling grateful and happy. 😊

Perfect Black Hills Getaway
The title says it all! Everywhere you want to visit, this place is smack dab in the center of it all! The owners, Kelli and Tony, are the friendliest and most generous that we have ever dealt with in our years of using VRBO. Would highly recommend their place to anyone looking to visit this beautiful part of our country! God Bless!
