"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My room was ok, it’s needing a freshing up though, more two star than four. In general good but needs freshening up. The corner flag bar and restaurant was the best part of the hotel. The breakfast was in here which was ok. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities which I was hoping to. Overall too expensive for what you get. I will be trying somewhere else in January."

"The hotel is due to undergo a refurbishment. We had a family room 3 single beds. 1 double bed. The beds. were so comfy. Slept really well. the quilt covers. Pillow cases and towels were spotless. Nice clean and fresh. The pillows even had pillow protectors in them. Our room needed an vacuum over but we were only there for 1 night , toilet and shower separate a bonus. Breakfast adequate plenty of choice. If you dont want a 4 star for the money would recommend 👌 staff friendly...

"Booked here with my dog at short notice. Has the expected facilities at an inexpensive price. Low-key, friendly atmosphere without being overly shabby. Polite and helpful staff. A slight annoyance was that my room was up 3 flights plus a walk, then more stairs... and the lift was out of order. My dog is infirm with stairs but fortunately small enough to carry. There's not enough onsite parking for the whole hotel, but free nighttime parking on adjacent streets. The "Gynn" pub across the road is...
