"A comfortable and well-kept hotel some 50 meters from multiple hiking trails and but a 20 minute walk from the Karpacz downtown. The surroundings are beautiful. A truly perfect place for exercise and relaxation. I conjoined ca. 5 hours of hiking each day with massage treatments in the spa. I opted for half board and found the gastronomy, for both breakfast and dinner, to be of the the highest quality. I'm going back next year."

I was in one of those rooms. That meant i was woken up numerous times during late evening and night by people playing and being loud. "Wir hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub. Perfekt als Familienhaus geeignet. Geräumig und mit sehr guter Ausstattung! Man liegt sehr gut in den Betten, großer Garten und mit Blick auf die Berge. "In the photos, the hotel seems luxurious, but in reality, it is not. Ostentatious furniture, which I assume cost a lot of money. The rooms have poor finishing and cracked walls .The water in the shower was merely lukewarm, even when set to the maximum temperature. "Wonderful estate located in a beautiful park. I would be happy to come back even in my opinion hotel should rather be rated as 3-3,5 star. Tasteful breakfast, but dinners were so-so. Also rooms need improvement: new beds and instaling a frigde. Very nice people especially at the reception and great service, but still some improvements are needed."

"Second time staying here and really enjoy it. The decor has a very personal touch, parking is free and convenient, restaurant food is outstanding, walking distance to Old Town and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is ok, now I will say this if you stay on the weekend, they have a dance downstairs that is loud. My advice is to go join in and have fun."

"After staying at different hotels of varying quality at varying prices for around two months now, I can say definitively that for the purpose of a relaxed and worthwhile trip, Hotel Gwarna is the best option I have found in all of Europe. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and not just for the hotel- the attached gym and restaurant provide a way to counter the number one thing that made me homesick in Europe, being able to eat (sort of) at home and going to the gym. Combined with the wonderful city around it and easy access to all that one could hope for in terms of convenience, this hotel will give you the best experience available for the most reasonable price. If you're looking for the luxury hotel experience and have a budget to stick to, stay awhile in Legnica at Hotel Gwarna ;) "

"The staff at this hotel are professional and very helpful. Evening waiting staff in the restaurant were outstanding, as was the Chef who produced fabulous evening meals. Hotel was clean - the only disappointment was that the bathroom extractor fan didn't work, so very warm air entered the bedroom. Also, the shower curtain was old and not pleasant to use - shower curtains should be obsolete in good hotels! The safety handle above the bath was loose. It was very warm and the aircon is limited to 21deg C - far too warm. We roasted! Putting this aside, there was excellent secure parking and the food, room and staff were so pleasant that we elected to stay another night. A change immediately and pleasantly accommodated by our hosts."
