"This cabin is a wonderful property. It is very private and feels like a home. We split time between relaxing at the cabin and touring the area. When spending time at the cabin, we didn’t feel as if we were missing anything as we would have if we were in a hotel room. "This was a *wonderful* home to stay in for our time in Iceland. It was a hub for lots of great day trips, but there was plenty to do in the house as well -- lots of great games, a beautiful kitchen to cook and eat in, and views galore. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but I imagine that would also have been delightful!"

"This is a cute room to rent on a quiet farm. The only thing I would suggest is update some of the pictures of the actual building. We were confused when we arrived because the building we were staying in didn't look like any of the advertised pictures so we weren't sure if we were in the right place. Thankfully, they had signs guiding us to the right building. Also, we weren't fussy but some people may not be happy staying in an apartment attached to a farm garage. "

"We had the best 5 nights at Versalir, perfect location for adventuring around the southern part of the island - essentially an hour drive to everything you could want. The cabin is SO warm and welcoming and hosts friendly and helpful. The pictures on the listing are a little outdated - the shower room has been modernised for example, but if anything it is better than shown. Can’t wait to return!"

Comfortable cottage in the Golden Circle

"We stayed there two nights during road trip around Iceland. We were there in the first week of February, so very off season. The attached restaurant was closed for the season, but we knew that going in. Our room was nicely heated and the hot tub was filled and ready to go, which was nice.
