"Wir waren jetzt zum 5. Mal in diesem Hotel, aber das 1. Mal unter neuem Namen. Vorher "Sonnenhotel Amtsheide"- jetzt "Zur Amtsheide". Es hat sich viel getan und ist noch nicht ganz fertig (Renovierungsarbeiten). Der Wellnessbereich ist richtig gut: es hat alles funktioniert und hat Freude gebracht. Auch im Park wurden Restaurierungsarbeiten durchgeführt. So konnten wir nicht über die Brücken zum Park gehen. Aber ein Waldspaziergang hat es wett gemacht. "

"A good friendly independent hotel we were very happy with the quality and cleanliness of the room and the staff were very helpful. It was great to have pool , sauna, steam room and fitness suite. The breakfast was also very good the only minor frustration was that the WIFI connectivity was intermittent during our stay and there were blindspots were it was difficult to connect but overall we would definitely come back here."

"This is a typical German guest house. It is family run. The desk is only open until 8 pm but check in can be arranged later if you make arrangements. It is an older property that has not been updated. That being said, the WI-FI was great. I did not see an elevator. A BIG bonus is free on site parking. It is slightly outside of town but close enough to walk. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay in this wonderful town, I would recommend it."
