"Very off after hours check in process. The place was really dark and locked up. Had to use our cell phone lights just to see a small sign on the door to call a number to get jn, then retrieve our room keys from a lock box. After that, was okay. Plenty of parking, but dark area with very little lighting after hours."

"We arrived after reception closed and left early morning but staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone and left clear instructions on how to get in. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was also great! Lovely building and peaceful town, and we want to come back to explore the historical area. "

"Lovely French style B&B large bedroom, plenty of room for all the family stay. Cosy and warm. Very comfortable beds and black out shutters- ideal for a good night sleep. Breakfast had local French food, very tasty. Friendly owner and the a wealth of history in the building. The exterior does not look finished, but the interior was very nice cosy French style. A very enjoyable style . "

"This is not a ‘hotel’ it is a dump. It is falling apart and revolting. The room smelt terrible. The sheets were mouldy smelling. The pillows were the size of A4, tiny. The floor was sticky. Just awful all round"

"Travelled to Cambrai for the first time and solo. Really delighted with the hotel - incredible value for money. Comfortable, clean, close to the rail station and close to the main square where all the shops, cafes and restaurants are. Staff were welcoming and helpful although it does help if you can speak a bit of French as only one person speaks fluent English. "For the price the room and facilities were great. The room was large with an adjoining bathroom which had a separate toilet. The bathroom was huge with a double sink. The art deco theme runs through the hotel and it is very beautiful in the bar restaurant area. Food must be good as it appeared to be all locals eating there. Bar very good value for money and the free too up of wine very welcome. Very friendly staff. Close to the train station, ample parking on the side streets adjacent to the hotel. Downsides: I’m a wheelchair user, the ramp was at such an acute angle that it was too dangerous. So I had to get help to get up the few steps. The lift is extremely small and barely fit my wheelchair in, I had to pull up the foot rests and mine is a travel electric chair so it’s compact. So if you’re a wheelchair user I would not recommend this hotel. There was food in the mini fridge that was half eaten. The noise aspect was not the other hotel guests it was people who had left local clubs and decided to stand in the street screaming & shouting from 1am to 4am … we could not sleep but not the fault of the hotel staff. So if you need quiet then this may not be the place for you. The very bizarre carpet in the hallways was very strange and really does cause your eyes to deceive you, I dare anyone to attempt to navigate a straight line on it. "
