"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Shack. The location, just 3kms to Millthorpe, was ideal. Locating and accessing the property was easy. It is very private and quiet, with lots of outdoor space to roam. We had fun playing soccer and wandering through the grove of trees. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and the BBQ outside and enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fires. Would highly recommend a stay at The Shack for a quiet relaxing break."

"good location, well kept attractive garden security etc all good. one thing to pass on to owners - albeit great to have clean rooms the smell of chlorine from the cleaning products was overpowering, i get a bit nauseous from chlorine fumes- had to have all doors and window max opened just to be in the room. kinda bummed what would otherwise be a really good experience...... easy fixed, change cleaning products???"

"They certainly catered for your every need. Can't think of a thing that I needed which wasn't there. Kitchen had everything (except a silicon flipper for your eggs). They even has a x3 makeup mirror. I was impressed with that. The only issue we had was with the hard beds, as we are use to softer ones."

"Well maintained property fit for a winter staycation. The gas fireplace and outdoor fire pit kept us warm throughout our stay. It was lovely waking up to fog over the vineyard outside our door."

"We were looking for a stay around but not in Orange that would allow us to disconnect and enjoy the countryside. Mortimer's checked all the boxes. The loft is perfect for two couples. There are steep stairs so this would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is a small fridge but no freezer. There is an ensuite attached to each bedroom and the living areas are spacious and comfortable including a huge balcony overlooking the vineyards. If you're wanting to visit the winery as...
