"My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the Sweet Medicine treehouse. It was very convenient being able to park right under the treehouse. While pulling in everyone was excited by the view of the property and the creek. My son and I were a little hesitant to get into the water at first being the only ones there at the moment. We did get in and were refreshed by the cool water. Soon the rest of the family joined. The kayaking was very fun although the paddle up the creek isn't very far. We saw plenty of wildlife consisting of deer, racoons, turkeys, fish and even snakes. There are signs on the property to watch out for the snakes so please do so, especially by the dock in the early mornings and evenings. It took a lot of courage but we did kayak at night which was probably the coolest thing with a bit of a creepy factor. You'll hear owls, see snakes swimming and the fish chasing/eating insects that get to close to the waters surface. Overall an AWESOME experience for everyone!"

"I had visited the teepees about a year before and the property looked dirty and the fishing pond was covered With a thick layer of sludge. I was pleasantly suprised this time around as everything was beautiful and clean. The maintenance man Art was very welcoming and accommodating to any concerns i had. The property host JC made us feel more welcome than we have ever felt on a vacation before. The few things i needed she did not hesitate to bring to us the moment we asked. She went above and beyond and made a point to come an ask us how our stay was and if we coule make any improvements what would they be etc. The river was clean and way more boats to use this time around. The hottub was on and functional ( last time we visited it was drained and not useable) . We will without a doubt be back for our next vacation. My only complaint would be the portable restroom/shower that is for the cabins. Its very small and you can not adjust the temperature for the sink or shower. Its only a on/off system with the temperature being regulated by the hot water heater so if you like to take cold showers your out of luck. We assumed the restrooms would be just like the ones the teepees use ( which were spacious and had everything you need) but sadly they were not. Also would be a great idea to add the porta-toliets back into the cabins where they once were . 9/10 also cabin was super cold on arrival in the best way!
