"Overall it is fine cabin. Kitchen was updated. Getting heat circulated in the cold weather was difficult. Space heaters would have been nice especially since the heat is located only in living room and kitchen areas. There was one but it did not work. Anyone with mobility issues would have issues at this house as the stairs going upstairs (to the nicer bathroom) are very steep. Little kids would be a challenge as the stairs would be scary for them to use. Plenty of beds for everyone but if kids don't want to be away from mom and dad it could be an issue. Worked fine for our situation and nice walking trail close to house. "

"I have drove past this place a 1,000+ times a perfect place on the way home to Bend after a Duck game or an amazing retreat. A very quaint and enjoyable place with all the amenities. Excellent communication with the Prop. Mgr. Thank you so much and loved seeing my signs in your cabin "

"My husband and I did a 3 day getaway here and it’s everything we needed and more. The sound and access to the river is wonderful, so much natural light and a nice little wood stove. "

"This was the perfect place to stay for hiking and biking and being right on the river was a treat. There are so many places to explore so we will be back. We had whole coffee beans, and couldn't find a grinder at the place. The host kindly brought one over for us. "

"This stay was perfect right from the start as communication with Jonathan and Lisa was easily done. Clear instructions on using the cabin. Accurate descriptions of its appointments and surroundings. Clear directions for locating the cabin and how to care for it during our stay. Every single element of the cabin is just right. The architecture is perfection with attention to detail that makes it well above most river cabins. It’s well-equipped for cooks. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and warm. Warmth! The cabin is cozy in all ways. And there are decorative touches, such as original art, that make it very personal and that was especially nice. We’ve stayed in several river area places, but never any with riverfront access for fishing. This was a treat! We each caught trout within steps of the cabin. Having the privilege to bring our dogs was most appreciated. Having them with us enhanced our time there immeasurably. We hope to return in spring. We hope always to return. "
