"We really enjoy our stay here. A very quiet area surrounded by wonderful nature. Perfect to relax. The spa bath was exceptional, just gutted we couldn’t use it on the last day because of a storm. We didn’t have a car so moving around seemed challenging, however, the local bus services run every hour, so with careful planning you can explore the area even without your own vehicle. The host was super nice and always happy to help and his senior dog for me was probably the best thing about the entire experience. This lovely pup came to chill with us and nap on the porch, and she gave us so much love! Wish I could have stayed longer, this place absolutely deserves a visit. When in the area don’t forget to visit One Mile Beach, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, and Nelson Bay. "

"The Nelson is a great place to stay. Right in the middle of the main strip close to beaches ports and all the amenities and restaurants. The hotel it self is extremely well appointed and the staff are credit to the management. I highly recommend this hotel for any one staying in Nelson bay"

"The pool area is amazing, love that there is a spa too! Nice little cafe for breakfast if you need it. The upstairs deck looking onto the pool was closed when we were there, hopefully it’s open next time, looks like a great spot to have a couple of drinks after a long day!"
