Situated in a very quiet area in the village of Felpham, this charming bungalow is a perfect retreat. Sit in the garden and watch the fish in the pond or bird watch from the conservatory.
The space
The bungalow is a well-cared for property with a colourful garden and spacious rooms. The hosts are obviously dog lovers and your pet(s) will enjoy the holiday too.
The hallway gives access to the whole house. The two bedrooms both have TVs and wardrobes. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Access to the modem for WiFi is found in Bedroom 2.
The lounge/diner has a three seater sofa and a contemporary chaise longue. There is an additional electric fire to warm up on those rainy summer days.
Eating space is provided by either at the table which seats 4 in the lounge/diner; or enjoy al fresco meals under the parasol at the garden table.
There is a small conservatory with seating to enjoy the peaceful garden. This has blinds overhead to protect from the sun’s rays on those hot summer days.
If you like to self-cater for your stay, the kitchen has all you need. Electric oven, separate ceramic hob, kettle, cafetiere, fridge-freezer, microwave, and toaster. The host has also provided a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, and iron and ironing board.
The bathroom has a WC, sink, 2 bathroom cabinets and a bath with over-head shower.
The rear garden space is enclosed and is a good size for pets and/or children to enjoy.
Parking is on the driveway with space for two cars.
Guest access
All area's in the bungalow and garden are available to access. The garage is not available.

Where to go and What to See?
There is a local conservation area at the end of the road, where dogs are welcome to walk off lead.
Felpham beach also has dog friendly section and is a gentle 20/30 minute walk from the bungalow. There is also street parking and other car parks in the village closer to the sea front.
Felpham beach has cafés, restaurants, and of course the all important ice cream outlets for a day at the seaside. The Lobster Pot is a highly recommended dog-friendly café to sit with a cuppa as the sun sets for a relaxing end to the day.
Walking further along the seafront is Butlins (day pass entrance), and the Bognor Pier.
Hotham Park is also a 20 minute walk away. This park is great for an afternoon out; with a children’s play area, 18 hole adventure putting course, a mini railway, a pedalo lake and a child & dog friendly café. This park is also dog-friendly for off-lead walks.
To make your stay even more enjoyable, you can go further afield for a day trip.
Chichester is just a short drive away, and has a mix of high street and boutique shopping with a variety of cafes and restaurants.
Chichester Aqua Park offers Wakeboarding, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Kayaking.
Fishbourne Roman Palace on the edge of Chichester is a rare example of Roman Life and Bignor Roman Villa is a little further away.
Chichester Harbour offers water tours around the harbour, often seeing the Sussex seals and birdlife.
The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum (home to the famous BBC1 Repair Shop) is a short drive away
Goodwood is also very close by and hosts the world famous Festival of Speed and The Revival.
Littlehampton has Harbour Park - a children’s adventure park right on the beach.
Arundel Castle - a magnificent 11th-century castle and gardens. Do check for their event days over the summer.
Arundel Wetlands Centre is wildlife rich with a variety of ways to experience the birdlife.
If you wish to travel further down the dual carriageways, both Portsmouth and Brighton are both easily accessible for shopping and historic visits.
This is a lovely part of West Sussex that mixes history, shopping, the seaside and countryside for a varied and fun break away.
