Love it because it is not the usual pale grey, clinical style of so many hotels, it has character, clean and comfortable with sensational breakfast and dinner.
Another great stay. Very friendly staff, easily accessible for both Bognor Regis and Chichester. Comfortable room. The best breakfast ever, ‘Fried bread’ outstanding again! Many thanks for making our stay so pleasant.
Really helpful staff. Food choices and quality really good, tasty and different. Very welcoming and comfortable accommodation. Easily accessible and good parking. Thank you for making our stay such a nice experience.
Great little pub restaurant with rooms. Lovely beer and food. Decor a little tired. Staff are so pleasant you don't notice the negatives. Would stay there again.
Room was great. Comfortable bed. Wonderful food - generous portions. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of beers. Two roaring fireplaces which make the cold winder night even more inviting for a warming drink. Will stay again.
The ground floor room was excellent and we were able to park in the disabled parking space.
The only adverse comment was that it cold in the dining area.

Fantastic place to stay very clean room and bathroom. Only thing very chintzy inside. Needs updating. Breakfast was delicious
Delightful old fashioned hotel very well situated for amazing Pagham Harbour RSPB and Chichester. Spotless bedroom and ensuite.
Cooked breakfast good but we missed muesli fruit and yogurt which were not provided. All staff lovely and could not be more helpful
Absolutely excellent in every respect. Lovely venue and gardens, wo derful food, gorgeous room and super comfortable bed. The staff are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and so so friendly.
My second stay at this hotel. As per my last review - brilliant. The people and the ambience make it. There will be a third stay later this year hopefully. Thanks

A charming period style hotel that functions very nicely with some excellent staff. Coupled with an excellent food offering. Hotel is just in need of some updates and TLC. I know this is not an easy task in our uncertain economic climate.
In a nut shell not a perfect but an enjoyable stay for business.
it was really nice. friendly and comfortable- the breakfast was lovely and the garden area so pretty.
The bar was also good.
We had dinner on the Saturday eve and the food was excellent.
We stayed in the travellers double room and was great but smallish for us as we like to spread out so it's fine as we
went for the cheaper deal so next time we
will try out the bigger rooms which are upstairs I believe
Definitley would stay there again -loved it (:
The hotel was lovely; we had a ground floor bedroom behind reception and it was delightful, the bed was very comfortable and the shower and towels were amazing - it was an over the bath shower, not a walk in but it is what we expected in a building of the period. We hadn’t planned on eating in the hotel but our plans changed and we were really pleased we did; the menu was good with plenty of choice, including an excellent vegan and vegetarian selection- the food was delicious, as was the large selection of craft beers. The breakfast in the morning was as good as I have had anywhere; we would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.
