Staff was very nice, and kids liked the breakfast Buffett. Front lobby and exterior is as pictured. Rooms were unfortunately not as nice in person as they look online. The local phone number provided to call in advance for things like late check in is not answered and has no way to leave a message. This made it hard to confirm a late arrival time. I had to try multiple times/different days to reach someone until I finally just called the national booking line and stayed on hold for a long time while they reached someone for me. Upstairs Hallways and the Rooms could use a refresh (new carpet, new paint, new pillows, clean bathroom caulking without mold, etc). We liked the location, but probably will not stay again.

I am not a fan of wall mounted blowers for heat and AC. Also, the TV should include instructions for the satellite. Breakfast very mediocre and perfunctory.

The only reason for my star's is the property needs to be updated, the rooms need to be updated old curtains the style doesn't fill homey. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service we didn't go into that location. The front of the hotel needs to be welcoming just looks rundown. Pictures online are from when the hotel was newer. Everything about the property was excellent except the noisy AC unit in the room. Very clean, room smelled good, comfy bed. Easy checkin and check out. Breakfast was better than average and the coffee was really much better than the usual hotel fare.

LaQuinta properties are usually a little better kept than this one. There are signs of fatigue on the face of this property. It is not what I expected because I had stayed at lots of La Quinta‘s in the past and they were good hotels. I’m not saying, the hotel wasn’t functional, but not as good as I would’ve thought for the price
