Infested with bugs and RUDE owner
Sadly we only stayed one of our two nights and were forced to get a hotel on the second night. When we arrived we accidentally knocked over a glass decoration and I contacted her immediately to apologize but never heard back. Then, then that evening as we were trying to go to bed the person who lives in the adjacent living quarters coming in late and their dogs barking incessantly so we couldn’t sleep. Then waking up to bug bites all over our bodies. Contacted owner and she accused of us of bringing the bugs with us, then said we were scammers. We’ve filed a formal complaint with VRBO. Never in all our years of renting vacation rentals have we ever experienced something so disgusting, and then horrible communication and accusations!

Disappointed!
Bad first impression as the outside of the property is not clean nor does it appear to be well taken care of! There was a strange smell-some parts of the house seemed in need of repair. On the plus side- The beds were comfy-

Not what was expected
Downside points: This is a shared space with the owner and with small dogs barking and in and in and out of the back yard. I booked thinking I may have to bring my german Shepard and am glad I did not since it is a shared space with dogs and he loves cats more than small dogs. Odd when we turned on the tv we were logged into the owners personal photos playing when the tv was idle to long. No bbq outside. Stayed there is a fire pit and it was covered by garden clippings so couldn’t make a s'more or enjoy a night around it if we wanted to. There is a frat next door that was quiet when we were there for orientation in June but could be an issue when school is in season again. The hot tub fan was loud and hard to enjoy due to the fan noise. We couldn’t enjoy the back yard because someone was always back there gardening or passing by and we didn’t know who or when they would be there. Sofa couch needs a good cleaning . Do not leave food on the counter that is open because ants will take over. Plus points: Shower head and pressure was amazing. Check in was easy. Good communication with owner. Walking distance to campus and stadium . An easy Uber ride to wherever you need to go. Beds are extra comfy. Nice updated floors and space really cute what has been done with the space and has everything you need to cook on site or order on.

Just to clarify, there is someone living in the rear portion of this property with multiple dogs that are let into the yard. They scratched at the dog door into the unit we were staying in multiple times which was loud and unnerving the first time it happened. We just used the place as a quick pit-stop on a cross country trip, so it was fine for what we needed. It is OK if you don't mind staying in a "college house". I gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to it being priced fairly.

Needs cleaning
Great location and big space, but not very clean at all. It was pretty cold and the AC was on, but they have the thermostat blocked so you can't change it. If it was cleaner, it would be a great place.
