"It hurts a bit to have to pay 115€ for a 3-star hotel that looks like we're back in the 90'ies... On top of that, there was no hot water... Honestly, this hotel should cost max. 50-60€ per night, but they understand it's "tourist season", so they're ripping people off. Staff and breakfast were great."

"Location is lovely, very isolated though, so you need a car. No restaurant or even breakfast facilities within less than 3 to 5 km. Great kitchen in the apartment. Perfect when traveling with a dog: you can walk them easily between the fields. Just bear in mind there is no air conditioning in the apartment. Wifi did work so-so. TV did not work and they did not come to fix it despite saying they would. Limited number of power plugs. Lovely beach and free dog beach 15 minute drive away."

"Easy check in, beautiful location in the center of vineyards, 5 mins drive to center of Castagneto Carducci and 10 mins from marina/beach. It’s off season so beach area was mostly closed. "The beach area is nice with plenty of loungers and gazebos. They have a bar and restaurant there which serves good seafood. The hotel rooms are a little tired, I would say 4 star not 5 as they have paper cups in the rooms not glasses or cups. The bed was comfortable and the fridge was stocked with juices and water. The bathroom needed a bit of an update missing grout between tiles etc. The staff were very helpful albeit reception not quite so much. There was lots we had to find out for...
