"It was my second time staying here and I throughly enjoyed it. The food was incredible, the rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. The majority of the staff were friendly, except the older man working behind the bar who was quite rude to my mother. The spa area was gorgeous. The grounds of the hotel were stunning. The only thing I found difficult was that there were no snacks available to buy throughout the hotel. It would be nice if there was a little coffee shop that sold patties, crisps etc....

"We stayed here to be outside downtown Bologna. Very nice place — great for weddings which was happening. They had a great onsite restaurant as well. It catered not only to hotel guests but also the locals. Our food and service were great. They had on site parking for free too — underground garage. The hotel staff was very friendly as well. "Quite frankly, I can't really remember this hotel, so it must have been satisfactory. We were in Italy, Austria, and Germany for 13 nights; during that time, we stayed in 6 different hotels. We stayed in the Castello for one night (the 8th day of our trip) and we were so tired that two of us did not even go to dinner but to bed instead. If we had had problems or if it had stood out as something special, we would have remembered. So it must have had clean and comfortable beds, an acceptable...

"Nice hotel but not close to the city. There is a bus stop just outside, and we waited for the bus there, but it just went right past us. Easy walk next door to a fabulous shopping center. Breakfast was worth it. We had trouble sometimes finding someone at the bar to get us drinks or ice. It was a restful stopover after several weeks on the road."
