"Standard hotel, rooms are basic and functional, though in need of refurbishment in some areas. Having said that, there is a nice, lived-in feel about the place, so maybe it doesn't need too much gentrification. Staff are extremely polite, helpful and efficient, much more so than in most more-expensive hotels I have visited. Dinner was a little bit disappointing, breakfast was better! Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you are active and looking for somewhere to stay where you won't feel out...

"We really enjoyed our 5 day stay here. it was well appointed and so central to the town centre. There was very convenient parking allowed for one car in the church car park, very close to the property. The only slight drawback for us was finding that the mattress on the main bedroom was a bit too hard for us. Other than that, it was a lovely apartment."

"Guys running it were friendly and happy to help. It is in a good location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. Very dog friendly and it was obvious both guys loved dogs. "Wonderful stay. We booked it to break up a trip back home from the Highlands in Scotland. We were welcomed on arrival with a quick check in and then we had a lovely walk round the lake. The food was lovely and the drinks well priced. Wednesday night was quiz night which we really enjoyed. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. We will definitely stay again. "
