"Beautiful remote Sardinia, this hotel is set in beautiful, exceptionally kept grounds. Ample parking, a lovely room, beautiful gardens. Staff very welcoming, got by even with little English/Italian. Wish I had been staying for longer than 1 night but this was just a stopover on our way from South Sardinia to the North. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, we went for pizza and it was excellent. Absolute bargain stay, would highly recommend. "

On booking in we were upgraded to a suite (probably to accommodate the many motorcycle and pedal cycle group tours that use the property). "Had a wonderful time at this beachfront property in Putzu Idu. Perfectly located—just a short walk to the main sandy beach, S'Architteddu, and only a short drive to S'Anea Scoada and Sa Mesa Longa. Quiet, yet close to the local conveniency store and a short walk (on the beach) to the best restaurant in the area. Mario and Francesco are great hosts, always ready to help."

"Lovely situation, overlooking the river and with restaurants and shops in the street just behind. Staff were not very friendly - reception was very businesslike and the cleaner complained at 9.10am that we were still in the room and would not be able to come back later to clean the room! Staff at breakfast were very slow to respond to our requests. No parking outside on a busy street, so we had to drop our bags off and look for parking elsewhere, which worked reasonably well. "Beautiful seaside hotel, charming decor and staff. Walked to delicious restaurant for dinner and watched the sunset. The public beach across the street was clean and had chairs and umbrellas to rent if desired. My only issue is perhaps a personal preference which was the bed was too firm."

"My son enjoyed our stay in this calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. We actually just stayed put for the two nights and went nowhere. Enjoyed the pool. My son loved playing with the cats. The set dinner included in our stay (a fish and a meat option) was amazing on both evenings and their own wine was very enjoyable. I was disappointed we couldn’t buy any to take home. Would definitely recommend this place and would next time take a trip to the coast as beach is meant to be amazing. "

"Sardinia is undoubtedly a lovely place but, for me, the best part of our holiday was Paola's house. It was literally steps from the sea and the relaxing sounds of the waves were the background to a much needed holiday for 6 stressed adults! The details now. The beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is excellent. The kitchen is equipped to cook your meals but there are takeaway and eat in pizza places within easy walking distance even for an old bird like me! We also ate at the bar...

"This was our 4th stop on our two week trip to Sardinia in May 2024. I didn't know what to expect when I made the reservation, but this place exceeded whatever expectations I had. The place had a lot of charm and the staff were super helpful. The one dinner we had there was excellent. It's street parking, but we never had any trouble finding a place right outside the main gate. Highly recommend."
