"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"Lovely tidy property, had all the mods and cons needed but the walls were a little thin and we could hear our nextdoor neighbours, And they could probably hear us. The hot tub was a selling point for us but unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest and couldn’t use it for long. (2 evenings max). Also, the bed was a little too short for my 6ft4 husband."

The deck is perfect for enjoying the beautiful views of the sea and is incredibly private due to the positioning of trees to the left and right and below the property. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer.
