We went by car from Poland to the conference which was held partly in Grenoble and partly at Villard de Lans - 40km away . The hotel is located in Moirans which is about 10km from Grenoble borders, so if you traveling by car you have to count in a hudge traffic :)
But, despite of this the location is pretty ok, it is close the main street, but far enough not to hear the cars passing by. It is dog friendly and has a big garden outside. The staff is friendly and ready to help.
Rooms are not very big, but each one has it own air conditioning and heating so you can set the temperature to your needs. The equipment is rather old but it is not dirty.
Parking is free of charge and there is an in-room Wi-Fi but it works very, very slow..
Hotel has it's own restaurant and serves breakfasts. In the evening it is open only from 7pm till 10pm (like most of restaurants there..).
Over all comparing price to conditions it is really OK.

The room was a good size. The room was barely clean when we arrived, utensils were not clean and no toilet paper. There was no daily room cleaning. Facilities were run down and not well maintained. The whole place was not loved.

Me and my family of 12 stayed there for a weekend, as we had a family wedding in Grenoble. The staff was kind and attentive, we had a family dinner in the restaurant and they kept it open until past midnight for us to finish dinner. Also, they allowed us to enter the pool before the opening hour and sell us coffees the day we departure, even if it was past the breakfast time.
The AC worked very well in all rooms, which was extremely necessary due to the high temperatures in August.
The hotel is located in a quiet area and provides parking spaces and dogs are allowed!
I take a London-Barcelona trip by car at least twice a year, crossing all France, and this is the first French hotel where we found kind and helpful staff, which was an amazing surprise. Overall I would recommend the hotel for a comfortable family stay.
