"The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! "We had a wonderful time in Chalet L’orbeye. We are a family of five with 3 teenagers so plenty of space. A week in August was not long enough! The views from the property are spectacular and we were able to hike & bike directly from the chalet. We regularly played paddle in St Bon and went to both Bozel and Le Praz lakes. We road cycled and hired bikes from Le Praz for mountain biking. We also managed a long walk from the Vanoise National Park. We were blessed with hot weather all week...

"We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. My only small complaint is that I am very sensitive to scents and get headaches and the hotel makes liberal use of fragrances. I wish they toned it down a bit. But otherwise great. Breakfast was outstanding too. "

"Exterior could do with freshen up, but interior is clean and fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful and were able to give us two rooms early afternoon. There are a few diners in the area. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked pretty good."

"This conveniently located and had everything you need including a kitchenette with balcony. Towels and pillows were great quality, only small gripe was the water pressure in the bathroom sink, although maybe this was an eco decision as showers had enough power. Would definitely stay there again."
