The Pinnacle Inn Resort is centered in the northwestern part of North Carolina in the beautiful High-Country area. Located in America’s highest resort community east of the Mississippi, Beech Mountain. Unparalleled scenery and abundance of activities make for an exceptional vacation experience.

Vintage condo located on the top 3rd floor (3 flights of steps - no elevator) , 2 Bedroom and 2 Bath unit with nice views. Unit is a little "dated" and "used" but clean and comfortable so enjoy our lower rates. We love our little escape and hope you will too. Fully equipped kitchen, wet bar, and wood burning fireplace. Dining area and eat-in counter with bar stools. Master bedroom has a King size bed and walk-in closet. 2nd bedroom has Twin over Full bunkbed. Also, there is a Queen size high-rise blowup mattress for additional sleeping. Laundry room w/full size washer and dryer. Both bathrooms have showers and tubs. Deck to relax and enjoy nature's beauty. There are books, board games, DVDs, dedicated Wi-Fi and cable TV for your enjoyment. Plenty enjoyment for all 4 seasons at this condo. Easy walk to the All-Seasons Center with indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, pool table, ping pong, fitness, mini golf, tennis/pickle ball, shuffleboard, grills, and more! Walk to Town events -Movies under the Stars, Street Dance, sled ridding hill, etc., Fred's General store and multiple restaurants. Close to Overlook Barn, Lees-McRae College, Wilderness Alpine Mountain Coaster, skiing, snow tubing, sledding, mountain biking, town concerts, bike races, summer scenic lift rides, Land of Oz, Kite Day, 4th of July Fireworks and much more. Even try the Flat Top Brewery taproom or one of the three area wineries. Beech Mountain will keep you busy ALL YEAR ROUND! Pinnacle Inn provides possibilities for seclusion with the ability to be "In the Mix" just a short walk or drive away. Less than 10-minute drive to downtown Banner Elk. So come join us for a weekend, a week, or even a month. Sorry, no pets are permitted due to HOA policy. This is a SMOKE FREE unit. Each condo is individually owned. For more local area events and activities please visit www.beechmtn.com and ww.townofbeechmountian.com. NOTE: Pinnacle Inn Resort condos do not have air conditioning as built, but average summer temperatures are high 74 and low 54 degrees. During snow and ice, it is required to have 4-wheel drive/AWD vehicle or snow chains for access to the Resort/Town of Beech Mountain. Always a good stay
I kind of don’t want the secret to get out about this affordable gem so that it’s available when we want it! But I have to give 5 star credit where it’s due. We have stayed at this property 3 times and are always happy to return. Mike is easy to reach if something comes up and is very receptive to points for improvement/repair to enhance future stays.

Great Condo, close to the slopes. Beautiful view of the slopes. Condo had everything- board games, three TVs, game system, movies, and books. The exterior of the entire complex needs some upkeep. Will stay again. You can not beat the price! Had a great stay.

I would most definitely return
This is a very nice property. It is clean, well equipped, very comfortable, and quiet. However, it is just few minutes from the ski resort. I stayed 2 nights with my wife and 2 additional adults family members. I highly recommend this unit.

Our stay was great and easy. Owner of the condo was friendly and kept me up to date on checkin- out info. The view was great and it was super easy location to get to and from town. We came to ski/ board and it was just a perfect spot for family time after the slopes!

Short Spring Break Getaway
My kids wanted to go to the mountains and hike. As someone who grew up in Ashe County and a frequent visitor to Sugar Mountain we decided to try Beech Mountain to just have a relaxing last weekend before spring break was over. This condo was perfect for our family of 5 and even though the all season center was closed my kids enjoyed playing the board games and reading books. We didn’t do all that we planned but we had a wonderful time. I would try to get some blackout blinds in the bedrooms to help with the lights from the walkway outside coming in and I would update the reference book that has the restaurants and other store hours during the off season as some on top of the mountain were closed for the season. We had a wonderful time and will definitely book this location again when the weather is a little warmer!! Owner was responsive and communicated great!!

Great family spot on a budget
We had a great time in Beech Mountain and were happy with our stay; we would rent this unit again. Pros: roomy for the whole family; lots of kid friendly games, books, and DVDs; a few sleds available if the snow hill is open; beds were comfy; hot showers with great water pressure; washer and dryer in the unit; pool and hot tub available on premises; close to all of beech mountain activities with a 5 min or so drive to the slopes. Cons: the walk up 3 stories can be daunting with all the stuff, esp with how icy the stairs can be; while the unit is overall cleanly, upon closer inspection it could be better. *Disclaimer that I would def rent here again, so nothing too bad. Lots of dust on the ceiling fan kind of stuff.* The front door didn’t lock without a lot of finagling, and one window didn’t lock at all. Overall a great unit and great stay!

Wonderful Stay!
Our family was so pleased with our stay at this property. It was larger than expected with plenty of space. It was clean and had everything we needed then some. Our kids were pleasantly surprised it even had an old school Wii. It was minutes from Beech Mountain skiing and other local restaurants. We didn’t have to drive more than 5 minutes to get anything we needed. We also loved the pool on site it was very warm and pleasant to swim in even with the cold temps outside. We will absolutely come again!

Great stay for weekend ski trip!
Enjoyed our stay very much… Lots of sleeping options with the queen blowup mattress and cot. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities to cook at the room. Mike was very helpful and prompt to answer questions about the property. Close to the park/playground and sledding hill - can walk from the room. Sleds available in the room very much appreciated! Recommend using the back walkway to get to the room instead of the middle.

3 Days of Fun
This is probably around our 6th (maybe more) stay at this property. We love it! It is super close to Beech Mountain and a short drive to sugar. The general store is just at the bottom of the hill as well as the pizza place and now a second brewery! It just keeps getting better and it has everything you need. Be weary there is no elevator so be ready to haul all your gear/luggage up to the third floor. It's not an easy task, but it doesn't bother us at all.

The condo was clean, it was equipped properly with all your needs, the location is ideal for all beech mountain has to offer, the facilities are great especially if you have young kids, and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive. I will definitely consider staying again in the future.

“Money saver” is a happy family maker
My family stayed in this property for our first snow skiing vacation and loved it! The proximity to the ski resort, the easy check in/check out process, the amenities at the Pinnacle Inn were all the makings of a perfect family vacation! Our boys loved the indoor heated pool and the punching bag! We encountered a few minor issues during our stay, but one text to the owner was all that was needed. Oftentimes owners don’t know about issues in their property unless renters tell them, so I am always sure to take that approach when using VRBO. Can’t wait to book with you again Mike!
