Great location and the loveliest staff. They were really helpful with our booking, interested in our trip and gave advice about the area. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The location was good for us and the trams were nearby so could get to anywhere we needed easily including the airport.

Great location
Stay was good but had to have room changed when we checked in due to aircon not working and another issue. But we had our room changed without any trouble. Housekeeping were not at the standard I would expect but other than that a good stay, comfy bed and excellent location. Customer service on front desk and in restaurant and bar also excellent.

Ok but disappointing
Nice hotel. Great location & excellent if you are driving as great car park right next door. Rooms comfy & goid size. However daily cleaning/maid service not good: when we arrived, hand wash totally empty so had to go to reception to ask for it to be replenished. Complimentary btls if water left after each service but mayy it s never bothered to put them in fridge in room so not cooled. Our 2 water glasses were never changed or even washed after either of 2 services (we stayed 3nights) & I left lipstick mark on mine as soon as we entered room after checkin & had a drink. Courtesy tray, which we had used the 2 hot chocs, 2 teabags & 2 milks & 2 espresso pods, not replenished after the following days service so we had nothing in it except some espresso pods but no milk etc. on last morning, mid shower, realised shower gel was completely empty so had to use the shampoo instead!!! Breakfast was pretty good but chaotic…..cutlery & crockery was as rare as hens teeth….. real available not no bowls anyway….ended up using tiny bowls from another section of breakfast which were child sized. No teaspoons provided for coffee & teas. Expected to use same plate you had your cooked breakfast on for croissants etc as no extra plates by bread/pastry area. Same with knives…..had to use knife from eating cooked breakfast to use for butter & jam or vice verses. Staff nice. Very helpful

Safe environment. Odd motive - tropical island ... But this is France. It was odd that we had to wait 10 minutes for front desk to check if our room was ready - yet checking time was stated as 3:00pm and we were arriving at 6:00pm!

We had a wonderful stay and especially liked the location. It was very near the river and we were able to walk along the path way to Cite du Vin. The hotel had a fabulous roof top restaurant where we had our breakfast every morning. The staff at breakfast were friendly, efficient and very accomodating. Less than a five minute walk there was a terrific little French restaurant called Chez DuPont on a very interesting street that made you feel you were in the heart of France.

Location was perfect - <5 mins from two tram stops which took you all over the city. There were also some fantastic restaurants nearby. Room was beautiful - resembled the photos on the site. We had a superior room which was perfect for 2 adults and a 12-year old. They got their own sleeping space rather than the usual sofa bed, they were very happy about that! Toilet was separate to bathroom and was a bit on the small side, so if your mobility is limited, that might be an issue. Toileteries were Nuxe, and were divine! Reception staff were great, particularly at check in - super helpful, spoke excellent english, and gave us lots of recommendations. Housekeeping needed some prompting to replenish toileteries but they were very fast and thorough. Rooftop bar was a bit of a disappointment, we encountered fairly slow service each time we went (hence the 3 stars for staff). Would happily go back!

Booked for one night so we could see Bordeaux whilst on a trip down to Spain. We went with Indigo IHG as this is a very good chain of hotels in the UK. I wouldn't say it's of the same standard as an Indigo in the UK but it was a nice quiet clean hotel. One of the comfiest beds I think I've ever slept in. Didn't have breakfast as lots of local options. Parking was 20 euros for 24 hours right next to the hotel under cover. And great locality to the centre of Bordeaux to be able to see all the historical monuments. Overall a good hotel.

Great location, staff were great aswell. We arrived quite early after getting off a 6am flight. They allowed for us to check in early (we are ING club members so possibly why) this was much appreciated. Rooms were lovely and they had a nice roof top bar where you could have a drink or something to eat. Very happy with our stay.
