After our 2 weeks in Nova Scotia and PEI, we needed a jump off point to make our 11 hour drive back to Boston. Carleton is a couple of miles from the bridge to the mainland, so a convenient place to overnight prior to heading home. Not may restaurants close by, tho a breakfast cafe at the hotel for the morning. good acomodation for our purposes.
The staff were lovely, easy to deal with and they’re a very nice family.
The bed was the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on and very comparable to a floor.
Everything was clean.
Very good water pressure.
Great price.
Parking was great.

We enjoyed our stay in room 17 it was great for the price . Only a couple of things the mattresses needed to be up graded as they were very hard we were both stiff after sleeping on them and my only other complaint would have been the bathroom door did not just right it needs to be planed down as it was binding when you tried to shut it . Other then that I recommend people check out this motel very friendly staff and it’s in a safe area .
The motel is dated for sure but clean. Bed mattress was very hard.

When I booked it stated 2 queen beds, and coffee machine in the room. Once we got there was only one queen bed and no coffee machine. Also when checking in the guy was not very talkative or seem very friendly. This didn’t me a good feeling.

Found bed was uncomfortable. Liked the kitchen set up, washroom and close to shopping
Looked like the room we were staying in was recently renovated. There wasn't enough plugs as available and the extension cord they were using in the room to plug everything in was damaged. The walls were paper thin, you could hear the people next door. Also the shower head was probably not even 5' high in the shower. My wife who is about 5'2" had to bend over to wash her hair.
Nice little place to stop. Wouldn’t stay more than one night. A/C was noisy and did not work very well. Blanket had holes in it, replaced without a problem. Food was good in the cafe.
