Great stay at Hamar! The property is well appointed, breakfast was great, and the hot tub and sauna overlooking the golf course and mountains cant be beat. Wonderful place to see the northern lights as its away from the city and the gold course provides great views of the sky.

Very nice hotel and resort. We have traveled Iceland for a few days. Every hotel has been very nice. Good rooms great breakfast and really nice Is particularly hotel is associated with a golf course. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are dated and repairs seem to be sub par. Beds are odd and it seems to be impossible to get a true double room vs 2 pushed together (also, short). Location is pleasant outside of town with a good view and porch.

I love this place. When I checked in they give me the option to choice see aurora or close hot tub. They called us for aurora when aurora show up. You don’t need watch by yourself .
