Great house for a hiking vacation with friends
We came with a group of 5 friends and family to enjoy day hiking in Anza Borrego, and the house was perfect for that. The location is great, the house is spacious, and the kitchen and BBQ were very useful.

Wonderful Wildflower Bloom Vacation
My father and I traveled to see the spring blooms. The home was a perfect base location, the neighboorhood is quiet, and we enjoyed the sunrises in the back yard.

Quiet desert retreat
House was very clean. Quietest place we’ve ever stayed and we love quiet. Our bed was very comfortable too. Right next to a large natural area so lots of birds and cacti - even a Roadrunner in the back yard! (We love birds). Heater worked well and quietly. Due to high winds the trash containers had blown over prior to our arrival and it took a few days to pick up the trash but not a problem for us.

Quiet retreat
The property is as advertised, situated in a small cluster of homes at the edge of the desert. The roadrunners, mourning doves and jack rabbits shared the back yard with our dog. Relaxing, comfortable and just a perfect winter retreat.

Very comfortable base for exploring Anza-Borrego
This is a very nice, comfortable house a few miles south of Christmas Circle. Three bedrooms sleep up to five, and there are two bathrooms. The kitchen is completely equipped, (though we took ourselves repeatedly to Red Ocotillo and Epicurious for meals, both excellent). The weather didn't permit a lot of stargazing, as described in the listing, but the glimpse we had was stunning, beautiful open desert skies. We expect to return here in the near future.

Borrego Stay
House worked out great for us. Easy, and close to Christmas circle. Kitchen had all the amenities. Wi-fi was great, which is not always the case in Borrego :-) . House was easy to get into with key pad entry. Came in late night, street/house was very dark, hard to find house number but figured it out. Thank you!

Nice home
Our stay was too short for all there is to see and do in Borrego Springs. The house is well laid out, with a master bed and bath on one side of the living room and the kitchen, second bedrooms and bathroom on the other. There is also a comfortable couch and sofa if you want to stretch out somewhere else. The only advice I have is to print out the confirming email as when we arrived, I tried to look up the key code for the front door and found I didn't have cell service. It was also dark as the owners respect the Dark Sky Certification of Borrego and turn off outside lighting unless necessary. Problem was easily solved but caused a moment of consternation.

Borrego Base Camp
We were half-crazy going to Borrego Springs in the middle of August during the monsoon season, but we are time-lapse and nightscape photographers in need of a good thunderstorm fix. It was 105 in the day and cooled down to 92 at night! The humidity was so high Borrego was a total sauna!!! My night photos look like they are in fog! Yet that made this house more special. It is so solid, clean, well equipped and comfortable that was an oasis! Safe, modern, super quiet, this was a great base camp! We also ride electric scooters and have covered more than half of all the streets in Borrego. This house is so far south of Christmas Circle it was a great spot to start to ride for miles in the country from. The few neighbors around were kind, the house was priced well, and the comfort of the house made it a home for a few days. We'll be back again! Thank you so much!!

Did not enjoy our stay
This home was not as clean as we were expecting. Each day we were there we killed multiple bugs and insects. The beds are small and not very comfortable. Check-in was easy though. The neighborhood left much to be desired. Would not recommend and would not stay here again.

Nice and roomy in a great location
I love the home and location. It was roomy and so nice to have the open space out the back. The primary bed was very comfortable. and the large adjoining bathroom was nice. I know this was fairly new on the VRBO market so I think there are a few things that could be tweaked. Cooking utensils could be newer. Wine glasses would be nice. I know the house is dog friendly and I could smell that there had been a dog there when I first walked in, but I am sensitive to that. I would rent again.

Well-appointed Borrego Springs property
The property was as described, plus a few extras not often found with rentals-- there were coffee beans and some snacks. We used the kitchen and the cooking gear was better than in some rentals. The property is clean and very comfortable. We were serenaded by coyotes one night who gave us three separate performances. You're right on the edge of open desert. Easy access to Anza-Borrego and adjacent areas.

A perfect weekend get-away
My husband and I loved our visit here. The home was perfect -- so close to Anza Borrego State Park (and hiking), a full kitchen so we could cook our own meals, quiet (so quiet!) so we could read, relax, rejuvenate. The personal touches -- paintings on the walls and doors, books and telescope, coffee/tea made it feel like home. The location was ideal - on the edge of the community so we really felt the expanse of the desert and night sky. We highly recommend this location and are grateful to the hosts for making it available!
