"After several calls about no water in unit and being told someone would call, no one called and there was no water for the toilet, for showers, or any usage. For no one to even contact us back after numerous attempts is ridiculous. I filed a complaint to get a refund and was told someone would call. Still no one has contacted us back."

"We love Rumbling Bald Resort. There is a ton to do there with kids (indoor/outdoor pool, miniature golf, beach). The unit was nice and the description/photos were accurate. The location was easy to get to inside the resort. We did not get starter samples of soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, etc even though the description said we would. When I called security to ask for some (the number we were given to call) no one would ever answer the phone (despite multiple attempts). Only other real complaint...

"Myself and a friend were in town for a race down the road at the equestrian center. The hotel parking lot was clean and there were many options for parking. The inside was clean, staff friendly to check in. Room was clean, bathroom stocked. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was GREAT! I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up needing a late check out and the staff were able to accommodate without issue. I will plan to stay again in the future for races in the area."
