Cute home in a nice, safe neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay. Because the home is a craftsman home, taller guests may prefer staying in the downstairs bedroom versus upstairs. There were 5 of us and we all had plenty of room to move about. Loved the front and back porches for coffee and tea in the mornings.

Perfect place for family wedding in Boston
We had no issues with the property whatsoever. It worked perfectly for our family getaway. Kitchen was nicely provisioned. Linens were plenty and nice. Off street parking was very much appreciated. Quiet neighborhood and local restaurants were great!

We had an amazing time. The house was very nice and just what we needed. The only thing I would say is the address should say Mattapan instead of Boston. Otherwise, no other issue. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

We love Boston and house.
We loved the house, it was clean, well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. It is within walking distance to a big grocery store and public transportation (the trolley that takes you to the train) and the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay there again if we make it back to Boston.

Cute House. Price was good. Used Uber to go back and forth to Boston. Area seemed quiet. Great breakfast spot in walking distance - Sweet Life Bakery and Cafe.

We enjoyed our stay. Very close to where we needed to be. The only suggestion I would have when staying here is to be sure you clarify the location. There are several streets that have the same name so we went to three different locations before we were in the correct place.

Stayed here for 5 nights in May 2024 to see sights in and around the area (Lexington and Concord, Quincy, Plymouth, Salem, and downtown Boston). House provided a jumping off point for all these destinations and was a comfortable retreat after dealing with the obnoxious traffic. Kitchen was well equipped for us to cook a hot breakfast every morning; upstairs queen mattress was comfortable; and having access to a washer and dryer to cut down on the amount of clothes we had to pack was wonderful. Communication with the host and check-in was super easy. As another guest mentioned, there is no shampoo, conditioner, or soap/body wash for the bathroom (although there is liquid handsoap for the sink) so make sure to pack those items. There are several restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. Thank you again Victor for hosting us!

Weekend ball tournament
Quaint rental property, but for 5 guys who were not too picky and just needed a place to sleep, it was perfect! Chatting with some local law enforcement, we learned it’s not the best town, but we weren’t out taking any late night strolls around the neighborhood either. In reality, we couldn’t have asked for better place for us. It shows just the same as in the photos, is clean, with soft linens!! What more do you need??

Labor Day Anniversary Trip
This vacation property was just as stated, a remodeled house in a neighborhood just south of downtown Boston. It was approximately 20 minutes to anywhere we went over the weekend (except Concord Lexington and Salem). The grocery store was right around the corner as was the liquor store. (Hint) groceries in MA do not sell beer. Restuarant/bar, Taqueria, and coffee shop within walking distance. The laundry was in the unfinished basement, no problem for us as our basement is unfinished also. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked (bigger coffee cups (wink, wink). Very clean house, fluffy towels and a grest host Thank You Jack and the Crew

Nice Property
We had a great stay! With that being said, there are two items to be aware of. 1. It is actually located in Mattapan not in Boston. We took an Uber to get there and explained to our driver that it was important to go to the one at the Zip provided. We could not find a way to put the zip into Uber. We ended up going to the wrong address and had to pay a 2nd fee to get there. Just be aware that it is in Mattapan. 2. The property was well stocked and we had everything we needed with one exception. There was not soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathrooms. These items are typically provided by other VRBO’s and not having them was inconvenient. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great stay and would recommend it as long as you understand the items above.

Homey Abode
I stayed here with family members. We thought the property was very lovely and in a pleasant neighborhood. Everything we could need was in the house. We especially appreciated the toiletries and the Nespresso provided. Kitchen was fully functional. The property was very clean and the bedrooms and living spaces were nicely decorated. It felt more personable and comfortable than staying in a hotel. It was truly a nice getaway for us who were in the area to explore Boston!

Very Nice Overall
The house was very nice overall; clean & well-stocked. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Just a couple of issues that we found. The hot water faucet handle on the downstairs bathroom comes off. So it needs to be fixed. Also all the doors creak-need to use WD40 on all the doors. Also, as a safety issue, plastic mats need to be in the bathtub/shower. We were 4 70 year old women and found the tub/shower floor to be slick…..

Cozy House
This was a nice cozy house, not too far from a grocery store and some nice restaurants. It was nice getting out of Boston in the evenings. There are quite a few stairs, both to get into the house and to 2 of the bedrooms, so take note of that. We enjoyed our stay!
