Would not stay here again- Terrible checkin process
The company has an absolutely insane process requiring multiple forms for verification, that are buggy, and check in and then you have to get a key at a gas station before they close, then take another Uber to the actual location. -- In over 100 short term rentals I've never experienced anything like this-- The place is a dive, there is more caulk holding up the walls in the bathroom than wood. The bathroom door barely opens. The sheets did appear clean and the bathroom sink, but the floors needed mopping and the couch smelled bad. For > $300/night, I could have stayed at a travel lodge.

READ THE REVIEWS. You get what you pay for.
The general location is the best thing about this property. The check in process was stressful. You have to pick up a key at a location a good 25 minute walk from the rental. The address of the rental was not provided to me in advance. I had to request that the day we checked in. They didn’t give me the unit number so I had to request that once we got to the property and I realized I needed that. The window A/C unit does not keep the place cool. It was very hot when we were there and there are no fans. The bathroom window doesn't close. It felt like it was locked open. This means that you can’t keep the bathroom cool in summer months and the people in the parking garage across from the unit can see right into the bathroom. I reported this but nothing was done during our stay. The toilet is very hard to flush - you have to try multiple times to flush it all the way. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet - a downside of having no dishwasher. Appointments in general were spartan. Barely what is needed. The entrance is located in between a pizza place and bar. There was almost always someone loitering around the entrance and smoking. Also note it is a 3rd floor walk up with no elevator so be sure you are fit enough to carry your bags up. Communication was a real issue. We lost our keys and realized it late in the evening upon returning after a long day out. We contacted the property manager. They had no plan for this. It took them two hours to get back to me and tell me they

Nothing was likeable. The property is dilapidated and unclean . The are is unpleasant. The booking in was painfully complicated especially having to walk 2miles with cases to get the key and return it with the key safe in operable. The access was up two steep stairs. The noise from the air conditioners to all the Appartments was horrific an the apartment has no windows or views except for walls 2feet away. The toilet was difficult to flush and the bath tub was filthy and minute with the tap running when I arrived. Worst accommodation I can remover since being a student 50 years ago.

Read all the reviews before booking.
I echo a lot of what was already stated in previous comments. Booking process was extensive AFTER the VRBO reservation. Having to create 3 separate accounts/ profiles for 3 different verification vendors… unaccommodating and difficult checkin/checkout process… the property was not as advertised, completely filthy, hair and dirt everywhere, furniture was cheap and very uncomfortable (both bed and couch). Was definitely the most inexpensive accommodation at the time… but it was clear why. There was little to no value in this property and the vendor(s) are nightmares to work with.

Boston Trip - there is more but i could not write it all in
The location is fabulous. Great location easy to get around Boston from here. The management company was hard to get a hold of by email, we were traveling with only using wifi and could not phone them. when we borrowed a phone it was easier. The pre check in process was ridiculous, we were sent about 7 emails with forms to fill out, turns out they only actually wanted one form filled out, but we had to sort through all of that, and then while we were travelling we had more forms to fill out before they would give us the check in instructions. they had also sent directions to the key cafe. Two issues here. First the key cafe was at least a 17 min walk from the apartment. we ended up taking a cab to get there, which was an extra cost for us but we could not drag our bags through Boston and back to get a key, I also did not want to leave my wife alone with our bags while i went for the key. they also never did send an email with the key cafe code or apartment number in the building, so I had to call them twice for this information. I am not sure if this is normal, but in the times we have used VRBO, it has never been this complicated. ( we just used VRBO in Nashville and it was a breeze) This may seem minor but is a huge inconvenience and not easy when in a new city. The place not a high star, there is a hole in the bathroom ceiling, a bunch of items in the closet for storage. I don't think it was advertised that it was on the second floor with no elevator.

Not Good
My spouse and I didn’t receive check in instructions until the day before check in after I emailed them twice and messaged them VRBO. The code for the key cafe has not been sent by the time we were supposed to check in, so we called them. They said they would resend it, even though they never sent it in the first place. We went to the key cafe location first and walked our luggage to the apartment. The key is in a store about .7 miles from the apartment. When we arrived, we noticed that out of the 4 towels that were left for us, 2 were damp, and had hair/ makeup looking marks on them, and the third had hair as well. There is no way they were clean. The duvet had a stain as well and since the towels were not clean we weren’t sure what was. We contacted the host and they asked for pictures. They then asked if we were in the correct apartment. Once we sent pictures and confirmed it was the right apartment, they said they would contact their cleaner. After reaching back out to them multiple times and contacting VRBO, they told us we would have new sheets and towels in the morning. The cleaner told them it was all professionally cleaned. We slept on the futon, using our jackets as blankets instead of the “clean” sheets. We got linens the following day around 5pm. We ended up leaving early and staying in a hotel for the rest of the trip. If you struggle with stairs, there are two flights to get to the apartment and the wifi didn’t work at all (all three options given).

The location is great. The process for getting and dropping of the key was a mess. You have to go to a separate location a mile away to pick up the key. I had to go to three locations before I could drop off the key at a spot that had an open slot. Ridiculous. The apartment only had hot water on two of the days, you always had to flush the toilet twice, and the exterminator came by! It would have been fine if you were staying at a friends house, but not for something that you were paying for.

Never again
This properly management organization is disorganized and frustrating to deal with. I reached out to the property manager weeks in advance as we were arriving late in the evening and was assured they would make arrangements for the keys. I still had not heard back the day of the booking so I reached out two more times - and still heard nothing. After landing in Boston I was told I couldn't get the key and it was my fault because I had not informed them of our arrival time. After providing screen shots of the multiple attempts to request arrangement for the keys they finally ackowledged that they had messed up - but I wouldn't be able to get a key from them until 2:30 AM at the earliest. It was already almost midnight, so we opted for a hotel and requested a refund for the night (I am told I will receive that in 5-7 days). And even after messing up the first day of our stay we couldn't check into our place until after 3:00 PM that second day. We finally went to the unit that evening and couldn't get the building lock to work. One of the guys from the pizza place next to the extrance came out and helped us - the lock was very worn out so you had to manipulate the lock one way and the key another to get in. The next morning when we left one of the other tenants had used duct tape to try to keep the door from latching because the lock was such an issue (security issue there). On top of all that the sheets on the bed were dirty. Never again will I look at a Staynue property.
