Great Place to Stay!
It's a fabulous place to stay! The location was perfect for us, the unit was tastefully decorated and very clean, and the hosts are the best we have ever encountered in renting through VRBO.

Beautiful apartment
I stayed for 4 nights. The apartment is comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. The owners were very good communicators. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would want for cooking. Highly recommend!

Excellent Accommodation
Sue and David are amazing hosts who went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home. The property is beautiful and the million dollar view from the rooftop deck is not to be missed. The property also has a lot of amenities and is very well stocked. We would highly recommend this property.

Our family of four spent a wonderful 4 nights in May. Sue and David could not have been better hosts - they were so responsive and really provided everything possible to make it a great stay. Location is fantastic - near restaurants, transit, shopping and great walking areas. Highly recommended!

Great view
Wonderful hosts and property. Everything was as pictured and then some. Hosts responded quickly to questions. They supplied great additions. Coffee and creamer and sugar. Made first morning so easy. Lots of pots and glasses and anything needed to make a meal at home. The roof top deck was a wonderful way to have coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. Great location.

Quintessential Brownstone in the Perfect Location
Susan and her husband went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything it could be and more. From accommodating us early to stocking the pantry with cooking essentials, our stay was relaxing and wonderful from start to finish. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone. The location is perfect in the heart of downtown and you are easily able to access any part of town. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful penthouse apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and stocked with everything you need. The owners are very nice and made the process super easy from making a reservation to check in and check out. Terrific all around and I highly recommend this property.

Surprise 40th birthday girls weekend getaway!
This place was perfect! We had three of us all from different states getting together in Boston. The two king bedrooms and 1 and a half bath is such a wonderful setup. Beautiful penthouse close to Boston T
Loves this two bedroom brownstone penthouse in Boston. We were on same block as Boston T which is the only way to get around with no parking and crazy traffic in Boston. The wonder provided coffee, cream, water filtration pitcher which we appreciated. Loved having laundry. Clean well stocked home! Would stay again!

Start to finish a fantastic experience! Dave and Sue could not have been better hosts, the brownstone was beautiful, beds super comfortable, plenty of space, completely organized kitchen with everything you can think of to prepare a meal to eat on the incredible rooftop! Look no further!
This was our first trip to Boston, we wanted to truly experience the city and stay in a brownstone and be in the heart of everything, well this is it!! Beautiful brownstone walking distance to almost everything you need and want to see and do. Jump on the T or take an Uber so convenient. Sue is such a great hostess she goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and makes you feel right at home. We were so impressed with everything and so happy that we found this property and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience the true essence of Boston and we will definitely stay again.

Great place in the heart of Northeastern University /South End
We wanted room to spread out while visiting our college daughter and taking work meetings. So much better than a hotel room! Comfortable bed, laundry in the building, great kitchen, lovely rooftop deck. It’s in the bush Massachusetts Avenue, so a bit loud with city noise in the morning (hosts supplied earplugs, black out shades on the window). Plenty of outlets, a wireless printer…great for WFH between live meetings. Very close to the T, buses, terrific restaurants, beautiful community gardens and Northeastern’s campus. Susan and David were super responsive and very friendly.

Perfect apartment, perfect hosts, perfect location
Sue and David's brownstone apartment in the Back Bay is absolutely perfect. The layout, design and tons of natural light made our stay so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. I've rented many VRBOs before, but none have been as nicely appointed as this one. Sue thinks of all the little touches that make arriving into a new place so easy and so inviting. Milk, eggs, coffee, plus all the key staples and then some. Bedrooms offered wonderful beds and hotel-style eye masks and eye plugs. And while the weather didn't cooperate as much as we had hoped, we had some wonderful views from the penthouse deck. We will definitely rebook on our next visit to Bean Town.

Great location and great host
First off, Sue is the best host. Super attentive and easy communication. She greeted us at arrival and made sure everything was up to expectations. She helped every time when we had questions or needed assistance. Cannot say enough about how much a good host improves the VRBO experience. On to the apartment…great location. Some of the best restaurants in Boston are in easy walking distance. Fenway was an easy 20 min walk. The T orange line was a block away with easy access to downtown and all the historic attractions. The apartment was very clean and well kept. Nice kitchen and living area. Comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Appears to be renovated fairly recently. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Boston. Thanks again Sue!

Beautiful apartment
Sue was extremely helpful and communicative. She was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the apartment. She stayed in contact and checked in regularly to make sure all of our needs were met. The apartment is great. It’s a wonderful location right in the heart of the Back Bay area. Easy walk to Boston Commons, Newbury St, and other popular areas. The rooftop view is absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was large, clean, and very comfortable. There was plenty of cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and bathroom toiletries to use. There is some noise as to be expected by being in a large city on a busy street, but we didn’t find the noise to be loud or disruptive inside the apartment. If that bothers you, they had white noise machines and earplugs in both rooms (we did not need either). They also have blackout shades to make the rooms very dark. You are a very quick walk to a nearby train station and also lots of good restaurants. If you’re interested in Northeastern or Boston University, it is very close to both of those schools. We loved it and would definitely stay there again! Sue was a fabulous host!

Our Boston Stay in the South End
We had a FABULOUS stay in the South end unit. Our place was clean and very beautiful, and our two host, Sue and David, were very helpful, welcoming and thoughtful. We arrived late, and we were greeted and helped with our bags, and David even helped us park, which I was nervous about coming in the dark, and being tired, etc. Also, creamer and coffee was also placed in the fridge for the morning, which I loved. What sold us in the end on booking the unit was the parking spot, which was right in the back of the unit. Sue also said they have a spot near Northeastern University when that spot is taken, which is also good. The other selling point is of course the roof deck. Wow ! I never knew you could see stars that close to a city ! Such a beautiful bonus ! My daughter and I were looking at colleges in the Boston area, and the location was great! We walked to the two schools we looked at, and afterwards did some shopping on Newbury street and enjoyed other sites in Boston. The orange line is within a minute walking distance as well. All in all I would book again. I would recommend Sue and David's place for sure.

Stylish, Comfortable, Ideal Location, Fantastic Host!
We can't say enough about our wonderful experience at this Back Bay Penthouse. A private apartment on the top (third) floor of beautiful and immaculate classic brownstone. The location is amazing with countless dining and opportunities for exploration right outside the door. The apartment is immaculate - clean, crisp, uncluttered but with all of the comforts and amenities anyone could ask for. The private rooftop terrace is the icing on the cake - and it is incredible... the view, the seating, the lighting. Every aspect of this unit has been thoughtfully curated. And the owners/hosts were phenomenal. Sue met us at the front door when we arrived, acclimated us to the unit, and then gave us complete privacy. She was available if we needed anything at anytime, had excellent recommendations, offered guidance with getting around, even took care of our trash for us! We were one adult and two teens and the two bedrooms, 1.5 bath was perfect - plenty of space and comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was roomy and modern and well stocked, the bathrooms were recently updated and spotless. Best short term rental experience ever!

Fantastic stay in heart of Boston
The apartment was perfect. The building is a lovely old building along Mass Ave in the heart of the South End/Back Bay. The apartment is the top floor - there's another rental on the 2nd and the owners live below. Fully equipped modern, open plan kitchen with all new appliances and everything you need. Connects to nice sitting area with couch and TV. Two bedrooms - one king and one queen (I think), 1.5 bathrooms. There is a GORGEOUS roof deck with table and BBQ that gives you amazing views of Boston. A real treat. It was spotless and everything worked perfectly while we were there. It's on a busy street (Mass Ave) and near the train tracks, but was amazingly quiet - a testament to the construction and remodeling. For those of you who don't Boston (we're originally from here) the location couldn't be better. It's right next to the orange line, and a very short walk from the green line. Tons of restaurants nearby, and you can walk pretty much anywhere in central Boston from the house (MFA and Gardner Museum 15m, Fenway Park 20m, Newbury Street shopping 15m, Copley 15m, Boston Common 20-25m. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will stay here every time I'm in Boston.

Amazing venue
