"We were passing through and only stayed at the hotel for the night. The clerk and checkin was very nice. We even got a late check out which was extremely helpful getting all our kids showered before we hit the road again. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept well. "We were visiting Somerset for the annual fire and ice festival. The property is only a 15 minute walk from the uptown business district, however not many people clear snow from the sidewalks, including the hotel, so walking was a bit complicated. However, it's January in the laurel Highlands so it's expected to walk in snow. Staff was extremely welcoming,kind, and helpful. The parking lot and entrance could have a little better snow and ice removal. Excellent dining within walking distance....

"We have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times as we travel from Ohio to Maryland. It is always clean and it is so convenient to the turnpike. It's literally at the exit/entry ramp.
