"Loved the location and being right on the beach with a great bar called The Shack with great food and very friendly bartenders. Magens Bay which is one of the best beaches in the world is 10 min away. The best restaurant on the island called Fish Bar is 5 min away and there's a grocery store even closer on the same road. This was everything I hoped it would be and more and we will be back. Make sure you rent a car and I wouldn't call it kid friendly. "

"This is unit in an older NOLA style building on the 2nd floor. Unit is somewhat dated. The layout is a little funky but overall the living space and porch are great for a big group. We had six adults and it worked perfectly. Short walk to bars, shops and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Awesome communication from the manager. Overall, great place to stay. "

"This is an older hotel with magnificient views of the harbor. There have been some upgrades done to the rooms though more are needed which they are working on. The restaurant is closed to the public but is available for bar and light food certain nights for hotel guests. Be aware there are many stairs and not a good place for anyone with stability or walking issues. Breakfast is included which is convenient but more variety would be nice. "This property is very close to the airport and was enjoyable watching planes take off and land. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beach is right off the restaurant/bar. There are plenty of lounge chairs and water sports right there. We rented a car but taxi service was right there when needed. You are 10 minutes from downtown with many shops and restaurants. I would stay at this hotel again."
