"What a lovely spot. So peaceful with on the sounds of ducks cockerels and donkey’s for a bit of background atmosphere. Located in the French countryside with close local amenities. And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. Abbevile close with great train links to Paris where we spent a great day and Amiens just over an hour drive Was about 1 hour 30 mins drive to visit the world war 1 memorial sites, well worth the drive. "This is a very well appointed appartment with a great view and location. Bright, modern and well-equipped it met the needs of three friends of a certain age perfectly. In better weather we would have sat more on the balcony which is a real feature of the appartment. Add a warm welcome by the owner and the charm of Le Crotoy, and we had an excellent stay."

"We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. "The property is a lovely old fishermans cottage. Set over 2 floors and with an adequately equipped kitchen and bathroom. Close enough to the centre of Le Crotoy to stroll to, yet far enough away from the centre for peace and quiet. This made a great base for our visit to the area. "A little disappointed! Unfortunately we arrived in wet weather and couldn't gain access to the property. We assumed that we would be met, but apparently we needed to contact the non English speaking caretaker and our french is not conversational. Fortunately we were able to contact the owner who was able to arrange access. The property was generally functional, except for very steep stairs which gained access to the two bedrooms and bathroom towards the front. The stairs to the bedroom at the...
