"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "This is one of the better hotels that I have stayed at. Convenient for the Channel Tunnel as it's only a 10 minute drive, the hotel itself is in a decent condition despite its age. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Decent amenities onsite as well including a coffee shop and restaurant. But where this hotel excels is in terms of its staff. From the friendly and helpful man on reception, continuing on to the happy to help staff in the restaurant to the fantastic customer service of the guy...
