If your intention is to spend a lot of your time on the strip or even Freemont Street, this is not the best place. It is far from the strip and from Freemont making every trip you make a journey instead of just a little stroll. Nice hotel, great and helpful staff, but not the best location. Also, skip the Strat Cafe. Not good food and too expensive for what it is. The pizza at Nunzio's is good, but skip the cannoli. Overall, felt safe and had a good time, but would stay on the strip next time.

Great location, cheap accomodation, walking distance to both Freemont Experience and the Strip. There is no direct connection from the parking garage to the rooms meaning you have to wheel your luggage down escalators or across the carpark to get into the lifts. In the ‘basic’ rooms, there is no fridge and seems to be a draining issue in the bathroom. Nothing major just takes some time for water to subside. Good for the price and would stay there again.

Could not check the pool due to the season. AC did not work in the room, had to call front desk to fix it and was done in couple of hours. Room next to us had locked door between us and you can hear everything. Room was ok for what the cheap price we paid. Resort and other fees of course high like other hotels. Beds fixed every day and new towels and toiletries too. No body lotion, no microwave or refrigerator, no coffee and bottled water in the room. We knew it and came prepared. At check in they offered to upgrade rooms but we declined it. Light in bathroom not bright enough to put makeup on.

The Start is well-located, between the Strip and Downtown. With public transit, it was easy to reach these major destinations and the airport. The room itself was a little spare, without an iron or refrigerator, for example. The Tower is quite and experience, with an impressive nighttime view of the whole valley. I would stay here again.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. There weren’t enough towels and no washcloths. The TV would loose connection and stop working. Our room was close to elevators and rowdy, loud, intoxicated people kept waking us up all night long.
