"Our room was so very spacious and clean with a fantastic view out of our window. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and swimming pool in the evening as it was great to sit in the heated hot tub with the crisp, cool air outside. The room that we stayed in was by far the best hotel experience we’ve had through the years. Would definitely go back!"

"I was very nervous after reading the reviews but we had a great stay. It's nothing fancy but the staff was great, the room had a beautiful view and it served its purpose. This location alone is worth the price we paid, which you're not going to find cheaper in Grand Marais. I mean, you're next door to World's Greatest Doughnuts! Maybe we just got lucky with our specific room but I think alot of the people in these reviews expected a 5 Star resort and just love to complain, but you get what you pay for! I would stay again! "
