About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

A little bit o' country, yet close to town, with spectacular mountain views!

Designed to bring you relaxation and comfort, this is a sweet, immaculate, one bedroom, with full kitchen and breathtaking 360 degree mountain views. Licensed by State of Montana and inspected and licensed by the Gallatin County Health Department.
AIR CONDITIONED for summer when necessary, and cozy HEAT for winter! Ten minutes south of downtown Bozeman in beautiful Hyalite Meadows, near the mouth of Hyalite Canyon and recreation area…open year round to hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, and in winter, ice climbing. I can provide indoor space for bikes or skis while you stay.
Ideal for the vacationers who are looking for peace and tranquility in a pastoral setting - you don’t have to go far to see horses, cows, sheep and even a nearby alpaca farm!
Make yourselves at home in this luxury apartment with fully equipped kitchen – refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher. Pots, pans, and stoneware pottery dishes are here for you to use.
Coffee pot and electric tea kettle with tea and coffee for your enjoyment!
The apartment is equipped with WI-FI, Samsung LED TV, and ROKU with HULU. There is a twin hide-a-bed in the living room available as well. Request sheets upon arrival for hide a bed.
From the large picture window in the bedroom (queen bed) soak in the ever fascinating views of the Spanish Peaks. Big Sky ski area is just 50 miles south.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck (when it's warm outside) with a view toward the Bridger Mountains. Bridger Bowl downhill ski area and Cross Cut cross country Park are just 45 minutes away.
Roads are plowed often in the winter, as well as snow cleared from my driveway. But AWD or 4WD vehicle with good tires is necessary for winter driving in MT! Winter guests must be willing to walk through some snow, brush snow off their vehicle, and possibly shovel a bit of snow at times!
Summertime perennial flower gardens on this 2 acre property for your enjoyment. Paved roads in safe neighborhood yours for a lovely walk! Awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets, dramatic storms, and 'big' watercolor skies will contribute to making your stay at this panoramic viewpoint memorable. I know you’ll want to come back!
Downtown Bozeman, MSU, or 'the mall' are a short scenic drive from here. Bozeman has a plethora of great restaurants in all price ranges. Downtown Bozeman, with many historic old brick buildings is a fun place to wander.
No-smoking/no vaping apartment, and sorry, no pets.*
Please read my reviews...people who have stayed here have been very happy with Indian Paintbrush Inn!
* There are excellent pet boarding facilities if you travel with a pet, but they require advance reservations.

Little piece of heaven
We are so grateful that we found Carol's place on VRBO! It is equipped with everything that we needed (including Carol's delicious banana bread...and coffee)! She was so accommodating and definitely has the gift of hospitality. We were in Bozeman for a relative's wedding at "The Woodlands" and this rental was close to that venue. The apartment was clean and private and is in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

Lovely quiet spot outside of town
We drove our daughter to Bozeman from Maine for her first year of college. The apartment was the best landing spot for us to stay for a few days before we headed home. Laundry, back deck, and amazing view were highlights for us. The apartment is very convenient for getting into town, but it's a nice quiet spot to relax away from everything too. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Sunset Serenades
I enjoyed interacting with Carol and feeling so welcomed by her and the extra special touches she provided, such as bouquets of peonies from her garden and homemade banana bread. We appreciated the privacy, the deck, fresh air/windows, the quiet, the beautiful views, a comfortable bed with cotton sheets, a full kitchen with good coffee, and the overall apartment was just right for two. We utilized both the laundry and the hideaway couch bed with a comfortable mattress topper. Going up to Hyalite Canyon was great and so close, and downtown less than 15 min away. Finally, the sunsets were so beautiful over the mountains and pastures, and I wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you Carol!

Well appointed
This is a lovely unit above a garage but separated from the main house. It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and well-appointed with nearly everything we needed for a lovely quiet stay. We brought our own food and cooked in the kitchen. The pull out twin size sofa bed was comfortable enough with a memory foam topper added to it. The master bedroom mattress was firm. There is a shower but no bathtub. We highly recommend the place. The Host was available when we needed her, but not intrusive. The location is rural, and very close to Hyalite Canyon.

Beautiful Property with beautiful surroundings!
Loved the peacefulness and scenery around the VRBO. Apartment was well appointed and met all our needs for our 4 day fishing trip in that area. Carol is a wonderful host. We loved the breakfast bread that she provided. We enjoyed it with morning coffee as we watched the sunrise. The washer/dryer was a plus since we had been traveling for over a week and needed clean clothing. An added plus was knowing she was a believer as we are and the added touches that attested to her faith were evident. Thanks for opening your home to us and God bless.

Only wish we had more time!
The location and cleanliness of Carol's guest house was top notch. We only wish that we had more time to stay there and had gotten to explore the area more. Carol was friendly and helpful from the moment that we booked our stay. We had a tight schedule on our trip but would love to spend more time talking to her and picking her brain about more things to do in the area!

Perfection
We had a wonderful stay and it was 100% exactly what we were looking for! We were in town to drop our daughter off at school and wanted a place to stay to get away from the craziness of campus but still close by where we didn’t have to drive too far. This property checked all the boxes and then some! Quiet, beautiful views, close to campus, meticulously clean and well kept and the big bonus was the warm hospitality of the owner. We will be back and would highly recommend this property!
