So disappointed in this hotel stay. When I book with a Hilton property and as a Hilton Rewards member i should never experience the issues I faced during this stay. At initial checkin we received rooms 242 and 227. Upon walking into room 227 my husband and I both thought it must be a mistake because the room looked as if it hadn’t been turned over from the last guest. The room didn’t smell clean, the bed was “made” (in the manor of how I make my bed in the morning at home), not tucked and tight, just “made”… it appeared as if someone had made it and then layed down on the top. The bathroom glass shower doors were filthy, the toilet paper wasn’t edged and the toilet itself looked dirty. The furniture inside the room was banged up and gave a feel of not clean. When I brought my concerns to the front desk she immediately moved me (very nice young lady) to room 231. This room was marginally better, in the sense that the room at least smelled clean, the bed looked to have been made a bit better (still the sheets were so wrinkled it looked as if they’d been sitting in a dryer for days and just thrown on. The bathroom looked cleaner (that’s not saying much) and the room furniture was in a little better condition (again not saying much). However, after returning from dinner late when we entered the room it smelled strongly of sewage and stayed that way for the duration of our stay and the TV showed “No Connection” and nothing we tried would make it connect. Hilton should be ashamed.
