The property also has a stocked trout pond (catch and release only.)

BEDROOMS/BATHS: Sourdough Ranch Main House has two bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom features a queen size bed and connected full bathroom. Across the hall, the other bedroom features a king size bed. A full bath down the hall features a river pebble shower. The new addition downstairs features one bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with 2 twins each with their own bathroom. There is also a den on the main level with a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping space.

KITCHEN/DINING AREA: This fully equipped and well-designed kitchen has top of the line appliances and amenities, high-end countertops, and beautiful suspended light fixtures. A gas range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher make meal prep and clean up easy. Its two ovens are ideal for preparing a large holiday meal for family and friends. There is a nice selection of high quality cookware and serving ware as well. The cook can chat with the family at the bar, which seats four, and a nice breakfast nook with picture windows makes it a great spot to enjoy coffee and breakfast with a view!

LIVING ROOM, FAMILY ROOM, GAME ROOM: The kitchen opens up into the living room with a gorgeous rock gas fireplace as the focal point, surrounded by cozy sofas and chairs and a nice selection of artwork. There is a separate family room just down the hall with a flat screen television, 12 local channels, and a DVD player. A nice gas grill allows for meal preparation outdoors while you enjoy a glass of wine and the comfortable summer evening temperatures of Southwest Montana. Groves of aspen and pines surround the home with visits from resident wildlife. Note: Views from the home are 95% stunning but Bozeman's drinking water facility is in view on the property below.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Enjoy 240 acres and miles of private roads and trails that are part of this property. Strategically located picnic tables at various dalliance points on the property provide stunning views up the Sourdough Canyon and the Gallatin Valley.

Fantastic home
We had a wonderful time staying in this home, which is close to town and amazing trails and hikes. The home is perfectly set up for two families or parents with adult children who want a little more space. The deck was perfect for watching wildlife wander through and for relaxing with a good book. Highly recommend!

Awesome Getaway
The property was beautiful. Experienced gorgeous sunsets and fireworks from the porch. So much to do in the area. Rafting, horseback riding, music festivals and of course Yellowstone. The pond on the property is stocked with fish for catch and release. Sourdough Canyon trail is really close by and is a beautiful, easy hike.

Great place to call home base.
The house was great to come back to after going out to see some of the beautiful places that Montana has to offer. Great views and one of my personal best memories was watching a storm go through the valley and listening to the thunder roll and echo. Plenty of great places to gather everyone together and plenty of room if you're wanting some privacy.

In town for graduation
We had a large group in town for graduation ceremonies at MSU. This home provided plenty of space and the awesome kitchen was well stocked for cooking large meals. We did struggle a bit at first getting up the driveway with fresh snowfall on it. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is probably necessary in winter. The huge wrap around deck offers awesome views and there was abundant wildlife around. It was really great to stay in this beautifully crafted home. The pool table was really fun too! Thank you!

Great, Great, Great
Great house, great location, great hiking trail close by. Photo on website does not do justice, I actually thought that was a road passing by the front of the house, it’s not, house is actually in a beautiful wildlife preserve, the town water facility in front, is very tasteful and does not mar the view.. Bedrooms are large, bed very comfortable, bathrooms good, decks are wonderful. The only complaint would be you can not get into property till 5pm and out by 10am and you pay for the first WHOLE day, it should be a half day payment with such a late check in and early check out.

Our group was four siblings and their spouses. It was a perfect setup with a bedroom and bathroom for each couple! A brown bear made a visit on the deck one morning and it was so exciting!!! The home is beautiful and so is the view. We loved everything about our stay. ♥️

Christmas in Bozeman
The property is in a great secluded location which is great. Nice kitchen and living area. Would be nice to have a larger dining area. Our family of 8 was too big to fit around the small table so enjoying a family meal was inconvenient. The check in would be better if it was 4pm instead of 5pm. Followed the directions for the gas fireplace and it didn’t work. It would’ve been a nice addition to the feel of the home.

Fantastic Escape
The Sourdough Ranch Main house is an amazing property. Beautiful view, walking distance to tons of hiking trails, and only a short drive into town. The house itself exceeded expectations, extremely clean, lots of room to spread out and the kitchen had everything we needed for a week and a half stay. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again in the future.

Rented this house as a home base for our Bozeman area vacation with one other family. The location was perfect. Prime access to the best trails for hiking and biking, but only 10-15 minutes from downtown. The layout of the house was ideal for 2 families. It had tons of common space, but the guest rooms were quiet and isolated. The only negative was all the smoke in the valley during our stay, which compromised what would have been the most amazing views from the deck. This didn’t dampen our experience at all, but I can only imagine what it would’ve been on a clear day! My husband and I are from Bozeman, so we fully appreciated what a gem this property is. Our Colorado friends had a great time exploring the area too! We will definitely be back.

Great property and location. We encountered a bear on the property but fortunately did not have a problem. The home had a mice issue, and we left a note on that. We would rent again.
