"We had no choice as there was no where else in Burra. Previous reviews had complained about a step in a dark corridor and nothing had been done to fix this problem and my partner also missed this step and stumbled. At least some yellow tape on the step would help. The corridors are stacked with old boxes and other bits of junk. You do get what you pay for and the room is simply furnished. At least the room was warm. The meal however was wonderful. Would eat there any time"

"Had a lovely stay at Mintaro Cottage. Very comfortable property with a cosy fireplace and quality amenities. Fridge was stocked with some local, quality breakfast provisions. Also received a complimentary bottle of local wine, which was a nice touch. Mintaro Cottage is so peaceful and quiet but just a short walk to the local pub (which served excellent meals).
