This had the effect of reducing the usable area of the 2.8 hectare property to the driveway and the apartment which was very disappointing to our group and difficult with small children. "Nous avons apprécié notre séjour (une semaine autour de Noel) en famille. La taille et l'équipement du gîte étaient parfaits pour nos retrouvailles - trois générations réunies. Le couchage était confortable, l'équipement simple fonctionnait sans problème, la WiFi était performante. Le chauffage au bois a demandé quelques efforts mais a contribué à une atmosphère agréable dans les pièces du rez de chaussée."

"Five 60ish cycling fans visiting for the Tour De France. Excellent property in a beautiful area especially if you are interested in cycling / hiking. Only down side is the opening days and times of local restaurants which caught us out a bit but the house is very well equipped and as we are all keen cooks then this wasn't a problem for us but may be for some. Not that much to do for kids. All in all an excellent trip and I would highly recommend the property for a similar group of people."

"We LOVED this property, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, beautiful location, so pretty. Beautiful area of France. Hosts were lovely. Beautiful room. Breakfast was included and perfect, much more than we were expecting. Everything we hoped for and more. We would stay here again when driving through France and highly recommend."

Excellent Property in a beautiful region of France

"Five 60ish cycling fans visiting for the Tour De France. Excellent property in a beautiful area especially if you are interested in cycling / hiking. Only down side is the opening days and times of local restaurants which caught us out a bit but the house is very well equipped and as we are all keen cooks then this wasn't a problem for us but may be for some. Not that much to do for kids. All in all an excellent trip and I would highly recommend the property for a similar group of people."

"The interior of the apartment is as described and shown in photos. However, for our stay the pool was not open, the tennis court over grown, and the grass up to knee height. This had the effect of reducing the usable area of the 2.8 hectare property to the driveway and the apartment which was very disappointing to our group and difficult with small children. Most critically, there is no wifi and the property is in an area with no phone signal. The owner is very pleasant and we were able to enjoy our stay fine enough but I would say this is priced for the description not the reality."

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
