"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. "the bed was a sofa bed although the mattress was ok every time we moved it made load squeaking noise the large entrance gates were attached to our outside wall so every time they were used it felt like the wall was moving and a very loud banging noise some gest returned after midnight some left early about 6 Am the location we good, only a short walk to the restaurants, and near the steps to the chateaux there was free parking in the street"

"We had a very relaxing 3 weeks' vacation. The apartment was fantastic. We had everything we needed. Gilles was always available and attentive to our needs. The apartment is beautiful and the views are fantastic. We loved Saumur and also took day trips to area castles and other sites.
