On arrival, we were directed to the check in terminal and told to scan QR code, despite us advising the two members of staff at reception that we hadn’t received this code. He still tried to get us to check in via the terminal before he finally agreed to check us in at the reception desk.
Having read some reviews about the hotel whilst travelling, we discovered that the bathroom door was glass, which was a concern to us due to privacy issues etc. We queried this with the receptionist and was advised it was not possible to see in the bathroom. This was not the case and the toilet was right next to the door and was in clear view of the bed, which faced directly onto the bathroom. This was very unpleasant and caused a disturbance during the night as the whole room was lit up when using the toilet.
The room itself was very dusty and there were hairs in the shower on arrival.
The experience was very disappointing and we expected better from a 4 star hotel, having used a budget hotel in Amsterdam previously.

Excellent hotel. Room quiet and clean. Need to crawl into and out of the bed so keep this in mind if mobility issues. Otherwise awesome.

My stay was nice and comfortable. The Hotel is located in a great area within a quiet street with lots of bars and shops in very close proximity. The check in process was great, I checked in by David who was clear and very friendly.
My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
I did have a small issue with the room allocation, however, the management did address it during my stay and on check out, so I was satisfied with their efforts, therefore, I will not provide detail due to their efforts.
The transportation links was also very accessible for the Hotel location, I got the 397 direct to the airport which only took 30 mins. I would definitely consider staying at Hotel Looier again in the future.

"This hotel was outstanding. It was spotlessly clean, beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. my only negative comment would be that if you need to store your luggage know that it gets stored near a smoking area for the employees, so it will end up smelling ..."
