"We can't say enough about this beautiful property. We planned our trip so we could spend some time together as a family before dropping our daughter off to JMU. The house is beautiful, the views are spectacular. It's a very peaceful location, but also close to many breweries and wineries. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our dog, Neo. He was in heaven too. Doug, the proprietor, was wonderful & accessible. We can't wait to come back!! "

"This is a beautiful place to stay. Lots of private areas to get away if needed but also great gathering spaces inside. We had "happy hours" in the Tiki Room, watched the Euro's (soccer) in the Great Room, played a rousing game of KickBall on the extensive grounds and the younger folk went for long walks on the beautiful property. We found a couple of places to visit in Madison, Bald Top Brewing and Cake Krums Cafe. Highly recommend both. The owner and caretaker were both responsive to our issues...
